Deine Aufgaben
- Lead the development of Vehicle Dynamics from design to series,
- Establish vehicle requirements and brake it down to system and component levels
- Actively participate in the definition of the loadcases (Quasi-static & Fatigue)
- Evaluate the kinematic and compliance properties of the Chassis
- Integrate Chassis data into full vehicle models
- Support definition of suspension and steering hardpoints
- Perform primary / secondary ride analysis
- Run specific simulation events to predict the vehicle steady state / transient response, in open or closed-loop,
- Correlate test results to simulations
- Coordinate Chassis tuning on proving ground by subjective evaluation and objective measurements,
- Support Road Load Data Acquisition and analysis
- Work closely with external Engineering Service Providers, controlling milestones and deliverables.
- Drive DFMEA activities,
- Actively support prototype builds,
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Anforderungen
- Several years of experience in developing Vehicle Dynamics from design to serial production at OEM, ESP or Tier 1 supplier,
- Experience on Ride & handling subjective and objective evaluations
- Safe use of ADAMS, MATLAB, CATIA, CAE and PDM/PLM,
- Knowledge of ISO26262 requirements, Crash, Safety, NVH principles,
- Good project management skills,
- Hability to multitask,
- Comfortable in taking complex decisions with incomplete data,
- BS/BEng or MS/MEng, or equivalent experience, in Mechanical Engineering,
- Fluent in English. German knowledge is an advantage,
- Hands-on.
