Project Quality Engineer - Sono Solar (f/m/x)

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for all quality relevant topics in project management during the development and realization of customer projects of photovoltaic integration according to the maturity level assurance according to VDA or APQP according to AIAG
  • You implement the specifications of RGA and APQP and the quality strategy in the development and realization project and at the interface to SC
  • You are responsible for measuring the maturity level development regarding quality relevant content and regular reporting
  • You ensure that standards, methods and documentation of advance quality planning are applied in development and product realization
  • You participate in the creation of own standards and method descriptions in a development manual for photovoltaic integration
  • Furthermore, you participate in the creation and maintenance of the S- / DFMEA and if necessary PFMEA as well as the derivation and definition of special characteristics and participation in the consideration to FuSi and the technical and commercial risk assessment
  • In addition to the definition of Q standards for product acceptance in different degrees of maturity up to series acceptance, your tasks also include training project members for the quality processes and methods to be applied
  • You will work with the SE teams to plan and implement quality assurance measures in series production for error prevention and process control
  • You define requirements for advance quality planning for development service providers, development suppliers and product suppliers
  • You will support to the definition and creation of requirement specifications for development service providers, development suppliers and product suppliers from a Q perspective
  • Your range of tasks also includes the coordination of request content between development and SC management, including logistics 
  • You will participate in the contract review with regard to quality-relevant content
  • In addition, the management of internal errors and identified development potential (problem-solving processes) is one of your tasks
  • You initiate and define corrective measures in the event of deviations and follow up until closure
  • You block the project gateways if q-requirements are not met and escalate quality related issues when required
  • You establish warranty testing concepts and field observation measures


  • You bring a completed technical education (technician, FH, UNI) in the field of E/E, at best knowledge in the field of photovoltaics and a relevant QM and QS education as well as experience with quality tools such as maturity assurance /APQP, FMEA, PPAP/ PPF, 8D reports, Ishikawa, 5Why, MSA, SPC, DOE, FuSa (ISO 26262). Additionally, you are well versed in the requirements of IATF 16949
  • You have knowledge of automotive related quality processes to ensure the quality of HW and SW related product and process development as well as process assurance
  • You are experienced in the automotive field, preferably E/E. Also you have a strong technical understanding
  • You have knowledge in processes and procedures for pre-development, product and process development in automotive environment
  • Furthermore, you are experienced with process design, quality planning, system/design and process FMEAs
  • You have knowledge in lean principles
  • You are familiar with the product liability law and warranty
  • Communication is one of your strengths, you have a high level of assertiveness and flexibility
  • Your knowledge of English and German is excellent
  • You are ready to travel
