Head of Accounting (f/m/x)

Your tasks

  • Technical leadership for the areas of Accounting, Tax and Controls
  • Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS at an individual and consolidated financial statement level
  • Monitoring of payment transactions and responsibility for the dunning process
  • Support and responsibility for the introduction of the new ERP (SAP S/4Hana Cloud) and Lucanets from an accounting perspective
  • Balance sheet assessment of complex issues
  • Close cooperation with the Controlling & IR department, especially on reporting-related issues
  • Introduction and optimization of automated accounting processes and workflows
  • Further development and responsibility of ICS and RMS
  • Contact person for company management, auditors and tax consultants
  • Project management in all areas of accounting (e.g. optimization of payment and invoicing processes, introduction of new processes, maintenance & further development of data management)

Requirements

  • Completed studies with a focus on accounting, auditing, or taxes
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable function in a dynamic environment, auditing or accounting consulting service
  • Enormously secure knowledge of accounting according to HGB and IFRS
  • Experience in a capital market oriented environment as well as general tax knowledge is an advantage
  • Initiative, sense of responsibility, motivation in setting up and structuring processes in the area of finance and genuine team play
  • Confident and experienced handling of MS Office programs and ERP systems as well as experience in the area of digitalization
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
