The Sion excited me from day one. The pictures of the converted Twingo sparked my interest, so when the images and features of the first Sion prototype were made public, I was done for. In order to be mobile where I live in the countryside, I'll most likely make the Sion a 'village car' and have it support my home storage system at night.

For me, it is the first serious alternative to internal combustion engine that uses solar energy intelligently and as a power unit on a mass scale. I already found the idea of this start-up worth supporting in 2017. In this way, everyone can contribute to the preservation of our environment.

There are moments in life when you have to take a risk in order to shape the future for the better. Supporting Sono Motors financially to get the Sion on the road was such a moment for me. I trust Sono Motors to be serious about climate and environmental protection and to produce fairly.

The Sono Motors way of thinking "car-environment-life" convinced me immediately and changed my behavior. Why did my cars actually have to be so individual? What would really be important in the future? Design, paint, leather against functional form, simpler equipment, solar, bidirectional charging, repair aids, apps, everything important built in, even trailer coupling. That's so different, that's what the world needs. In the meantime, we have a solar system on the roof, my Sion and the Sono wallbox are still missing.

I've always wanted an EV since I converted my Reliant Robin to EV power in 2013 and this looks like the first family size EV that I could afford. And I would love to go camping with the Sion, always electricity and room enough to sleep in de back with the seats down. can't wait!

I definitely want one to replace my old car with ICE. the low impact on the environment and self charging are very appealing.

Refuelling with the sun is the future!

In the fist place the Sion fits perfectly in our two families renewable energy system. The 51 solar panels produce more electricity than needed for the shared heatpump and the electricity consumption of the two households. In the second place we share already a car which will be replaced by the Sion.

I think the concept of the car is good. The Sion is perfect for our family and driving profile.

I reserved my Sion because I like the idea of solar integration and I want to switch to an electric car in the medium to long term. I heard about the possibility of using an electric car as electricity storage for a house years ago during my vocational training. It's nice that Sono Motors is involved here with the new wallbox. The concept of electric cars to stabilise the power grid in Utrecht shows that the future is slowly becoming reality.

I am a young craftsperson and father and am therefore in need of a spacious and family-friendly vehicle. Due to climate change, I would like to get away from our diesel car as soon as possible. Because I find the corrupt car industry and its cronyism with politics intolerable. Because the whole industry around the car (oil industry, garages,...) is structured in a way that is hostile to consumers. What I like most about the Sion is that it breaks up these structures in order to realise climate-friendly and resource-saving mobility.
